Description: LMS steam train – 5690 ‘Leander’ Scarborough Spa Express at Scarborough, 30-Jul-2008 – TrainBusJaguar. LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 5690 ‘Leander’ is seen working the Scarborough Spa Express, which is a special summer service run by steam trains & the West Coast Railway Company, from Scarborough-York-Leeds-Harrogate-Knaresborough-York-Scarborough. Leander is here seen pulling into Scarborough, then we look at some closer details of the Jubilee, then she departs to run round in the loop siding (my train left before the actual departure). Sorry the video is a bit quick, it just turned out that way! Filmed on July 30th 2008. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO RATE & COMMENT!

In the SP 4449. This light uses a dual Mars headlight bulb plate (as in the Mars SB- 9000 headlight – US Pat. 2,494,652) which has been affixed to a 12 volt Mars “figure 8″ mechanism which was marketed for single bulb use. It also uses auto headlight bulbs instead of the locomotive lamps . The original oscillating mechanism was a Type 400 Mars Light

Considering the condition of that track, I can understand why they had to proceed so slowly. They must be moving at about 10 MPH. It sure is a beautiful setting, isn’t it? This video was very well-framed.
