Description: My layout is a shelf only 12 inches wide. It occupies an area 6 feet by 12 feet. I run the trains using the MTH DCS command system.

    @DieselRebel Centralized Traffic Control. It is something thats been used on real railroads for 60 years now.

    Another question for the video host. BN engine #5809 at 2:11 in, I noticed it has a functioning yellow beacon. Did that come with the model from the factory, or after market? If it’s factory, who made it?

    this is amazing!!! I have 3, 4 feet by 8 feet long tables in my small basement and i’m trying to do something simaler to this just not this big

    @Fireheart528 Yes that is a C415, and 6424 is a SD45, looks like a former NP from the notch in the nose.

    Awesome layout. You guys need a heli-pad on one of those trains. get a couple of those toy helicopters they sell now for $20 or $25 and land them on there. Don’t crash them thou, or you’ll ruin part of your layout. Again, Awesome layout !!!

    is this a C-415 @ 1:44? and tell me if i’m wrong, but 6424 seems to be an EMD SD50.

    plus, couldn’t you just dump all those little cars of grain out into a bag and walk it to the other side of the building in much less time?
